TSC offers free transit service to students during Spring 2019

TSC-Transit-Service-1Texas Southmost College began providing free transit service to TSC students on Jan. 9, 2019 via the Brownsville Metro Scorpion Connector, from the main campus at Fort Brown to the college's International Technology, Education and Commerce Center (ITECC).

The free transit service is a pilot program between TSC, Brownsville Metro, and the City of Brownsville.

"We are pleased to collaborate with Brownsville Metro and the City of Brownsville to provide the transit service pilot program to our students this semester," TSC President Jesús Roberto Rodríguez said.

Brownsville Metro Route 14 has been extended to provide the free transit service to TSC students during the spring 2019 semester. TSC students can use Route 14 and all fixed route services free of charge with the presentation of a valid TSC Student ID.
